In 2016, I began my first foray into the software world by starting a Computer Engineering program at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. In addition to my four years of education, I also made sure to develop myself personally. During this time, I focused on developing myself, particularly in the web and mobile applications. I had the opportunity to present my projects by turning the knowledge I learned into projects and participating in competitions like TÜBİTAK and Teknofest, which also served as a powerful motivational factor. Not content with the programming languages I learned during my school years, I strived to improve myself by adding to my own skills. First, in 2018, I participated in the TÜBİTAK 2242 University Student Research Project in the Smart City and Transportation category with the Burdur Promotion Mobile Application. Winning second place in the region sparked my interest in competitions. Subsequently, in 2019, I qualified for Teknofest, this time winning first place in the region, with my Digital Archaeological Museum. While developing these projects, I participated in competitions as part of the Yoldaki Mühendis team. Through the competition I participated in, I began mentoring my friends, encouraging them to learn about projects and participate. I mentored three projects, two of which qualified for Teknofest by placing first in their respective regions. After graduating, I began my master's degree at the same university without interruption. Between 2020 and 2023, I submitted my thesis under the supervision of Ali Hakan Işık and successfully completed my master's degree.
During the summer of 2019, I completed a mandatory summer internship at IND Bilişim, which gave me the opportunity to see technologies used in the business world for the first time. The company used Vue.js for the frontend, Java and Springboot for the backend, and PostgreSQL for the database. We'd learned Java in an object-oriented programming course at school, but this was the first time I'd seen it used in large-scale projects. SpringBoot and Vue.js were technologies I'd never heard of before. I was working on web development, but I hadn't used Javascript much. I started using what I learned at the company in my own projects. I simply integrated Vue.js into the forms on my personal website, and I continued to actively use Vue.js in many administrative panels. What I learned there helped me adapt quickly when I started working. The projects were written using a microservices architecture.
I graduated from school in June 2020 and immediately started working as a junior developer at Finastech Technology, where I currently work (September 2025). At Finastech, we develop money transfer software for both the website (admin panel) and the wallet (mobile app). At Finastech Technology, a startup company, I had the opportunity to develop myself in both the front-end and back-end areas. In addition to my professional life, I also completed my master's degree during this time. Having my first work experience at a startup right after graduation was a huge advantage for me. We kept up with emerging technologies and quickly implemented them in our active products. I would blog about any bugs or notable features I encountered on my website. We write our applications at work using a microservices architecture. We use React.js and Next.js on the front-end, and Java and SpringBoot on the back-end, along with Oracle and PostgreSQL for databases. I've experienced Solr and ElasticSearch for log searches. We use MongoDB for multi-language labeling on the screen. We use Redis for session management. We develop mobile applications cross-platform, and here we use React Native.
In September 2020, I took my first step into the software world as a Junior Developer at FinAsTech.
FinAsTech integrates financial software such as payment systems, e-money and digital banking systems, open banking, merchant registration systems (İKS), AML, and virtual POS.
Starting my career at a startup was a great advantage for me. I had the opportunity to work in various areas of software development. I gained experience in the end-to-end development processes by working on both the front-end and back-end of the web and mobile applications we developed.
We strive to stay up-to-date by utilizing cutting-edge technologies and modern programming languages while developing our products. We also focus on creating scalable and sustainable solutions by designing our products with a microservices architecture.
Technologies We Use: React.js, Next.js, Node.js, React Native, Java, SpringBoot, Hibernate, JPA, Oracle, PosgreSql, MongoDb, Solr, ElasticSearch, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket
In July 2019, I started working as an intern at IND Software, Information Technology, as part of my mandatory internship.
IND Software is a company that develops Process Management System Projects, Enterprise Resource Planning Projects, Subscriber Management System Projects, Geographic Information System Projects, Mobile Application Projects, Order-Based Enterprise Software Solutions, as well as R&D projects focused on Digital Twin, IoT, and Artificial Intelligence.
It was a very productive and enriching period for me. I had the opportunity to observe how the theoretical knowledge I gained at university was applied to comprehensive real-world projects. I voluntarily extended my internship from the standard 8 weeks to 10 weeks in total.
During this time, I gained valuable experience by working with business analysts in the project creation and planning stages. This helped me better prepare myself before starting my professional career.
Technologies We Use: Vue.js, Java, SpringBoot, PLSql, MongoDb, Jira, Selenium, Appium.
In June 2020, I graduated from the Computer Engineering Department at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. In the same year, I was directly admitted to the master’s program at the same university.
In the first semester of my master’s program, I attended theoretical courses, and in the second semester, I participated in seminar sessions. During the second year, I began working on my thesis. Before starting the thesis, I conducted detailed research on the topic and dedicated the first year entirely to developing the project.
Afterwards, I began writing the thesis. In this project, we observed that while commuting in traffic, most vehicles had empty seats. Based on this, we developed a project that enables passengers traveling in the same direction and route to connect with each other through a mobile application. The main goal of the project is to help reduce traffic congestion, particularly in metropolitan areas. Additionally, since fewer cars would be on the road, it also aims to reduce the emission of harmful gases into the environment.

In 2016, I started my studies in Computer Engineering at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), marking my first step into the world of software development. Alongside the education I received at school, I made an effort to improve myself personally as well. To reinforce the programming languages I was learning, I worked on small projects, which kept me motivated to learn even more.
In 2019, with the guidance of my professor, Ali Hakan Işık, I participated in the TÜBİTAK 2242 University Students Research Project Competition. As a result, I achieved second place in the Smart Cities category at the regional level. Since it was my very first competition experience, it became a highly valuable milestone for me.
After improving my project, I participated again in 2020 and this time secured first place in the region, earning the opportunity to compete in Teknofest 2020. I joined these competitions as part of the Yoldaki Mühendis team, under the supervision of my advisor, Ali Hakan Işık. I also shared the experiences I gained with my friends; in 2020, I encouraged and mentored them to take part in similar initiatives.
Moreover, I actively attended various events and seminars on digital transformation, technology, and artificial intelligence, striving to gain new insights while also expanding my network by connecting with professionals in the field.
